Literacy
We have a coordinated Literacy program which allows students to work at differentiated levels as required. Daily Literacy learning blocks allow for a structured English session which further develops every child’s spelling, writing, reading, viewing and speaking and listening. Students are explicitly taught the skills they need and this is built on each year with increasing levels of complexity. Some of the programs which assist us to do this are:
- Heggerty K-1
- UFLI K-3
- Spelling Mastery 2-6
Secondary delivery through SIDE with specialist support and extension from teaching staff.
